Snippet (00:00):

Now let me ask you, do you think that Tommy P will ever be motherf&^king happy? Oh, hell motherf&^king no. So I encourage you if you have desires that’s okay. But make a clear distinction.

Tommy P. (00:38):

Good morning, good afternoon, and motherf&^king good evening. Welcome to another episode of Under the Bodhi Tree with Tommy P. Today, I want to talk a little bit about desires. What do we do with it? What do we do with it? When we want something so bad and we can’t get it, and how do we use desires as inspiration to really realize goals and dreams and experiences that we want, really want in our lives. So real quick, I just want to give gratitude to something that I very much so appreciate in my life. It is my Macbook pro. Inanimate object. F&^K that sh^t. I’m anthropomorphizing this, baby. It’s been with me for a very long time. It has always been dependable and I am very grateful that it works all the time. It’s very reliable. I have a windows PC as well, a gaming laptop. I’m grateful for that as well, but I do want to take the time out to appreciate and be grateful for my Macbook pro. It’s always been there for me. Never failed on me. Pretty awesome sh^t.

Having Desires (02:05):

So onto the topic of desires, desires can be a source of inspiration or a source of a rabbit hole that will take you to the depths of hell. I see a lot of people out there that are suffering from their desires, right? They are not content with their current life. They did not expect this to be their life in this current time, because in the past, they may have visions and goals and expectations for themselves, but it seems to them that they are very unsatisfied with their current situation every day is a current (constant*) reminder to them that life sucks that they want more, that this is unfair.

These People Will Never Be Happy (03:10):

These motherf&^kers will never be happy with that mindset. They must really… Have to go and take some time out for introspection, meditation. They have to go to a retreat or something so they can reflect on their lives and look at it from an objective point of view, because if they always want things and things that they do want are not here, they will always feel bad about themselves and that low vibrational and that low vibrational energy that they’re emitting into the world will give back more of that same low vibrational energy.

When You’re Stuck, Do This (03:59):

So how can you get out of this slump of low vibrational thoughts about desires? It’s pretty simple. Really? You just let it go. You let go of those desires, but Tommy P these are my desires. I want to realize them and have them in my life. What do you mean let them go? I mean let them the f&^k go. Don’t be attached to them right? When you want something. And when you desire something, that’s a good thing. That means there’s something within you that would like to experience a little bit more or something a little bit different than what you’re currently experienced. That’s a good thing. However, the bad part is when you crave that desire and that desire is the source of your motherf&^king happiness. That’s when you’re f&^ked. So you have to let it go.

Tesla Model S With All the Bells and Whistles (04:57):

Just imagine me, Tommy P. He want top of the line or desire top of the line model S Tesla, right? They cost well over a hundred thousand dollars. And I, more than desire. I crave it. If I do not have that one thing, I will not be motherf&^king happy. So I toil, I work every day. I work really hard. I have a vision, I have a goal. I want that thing, but I ignore the present moment all together. I forget about the journey of the entire thing. The only thing that makes me happy is that model S Tesla in dark blue, but it gets to the point where I toil… Let’s say for 5 to 10 years, and I still have not been able to save up for this car that I crave so damn much. Things happen. Life happens, student loans. Out of nowhere, I need to pay for certain bills that were unexpected. And it seems like that model S is just so far away from my grasp. Now let me ask you, do you think that Tommy P will ever be motherf&^king happy? Oh, hell motherf&^king no.

Desires vs Craving (06:25):

So I encourage you. If you have desires, that’s okay. But make a clear distinction. If it’s something you can desire without craving, or you really need this thing in order to make you feel a certain state always assess your desires and even experiences, this it’s called the Socratic method. Question why your mind is anticipating so much pleasure from this experience. Question it. Why do I want a Tesla model S? Oh, because it’s a nice f&^king car, but why do you want it? Oh, because it’s a status symbol, but why do you want the status? Well, because I want people to think that I’m cool, but why do you want people to think that you’re cool? You know what I mean? And keep asking those questions, dig deep and figure out really, why the f&^k do you want this experience?

It Boils Down to This (07:36):

And every f&^king time, it boils down to something that you feel very inadequate within yourself. That’s all it is all fulfillment that you ever want to experience is already within you. And it will come down to the simplest thing. Just keep asking those questions, dig deep, and you will find the solution. Meditate on this sh^t, have a time out for yourself. So you can think and turn the crock pot on this desire, on this thought. So Tommy P how can we change this?

How to Be Happy With Your Desires (08:19):

How can we have desires at the same time and be happy with it. I’m glad you motherf&^king ask, easy. You can desire things and let it go. Well, Tommy, you already said that. Dig deep a little bit more. Sure. I will say something. And this is going to sound a little crazy to the masses out there, really, depending on were you stand on this subject because I’ve never been a big fan of that movie. The Secret, I thought that movie was besides some of the people that I do like on there, the speakers, Jack Canfield, one of my favorite speakers and a few more on there, but that movie was piss poor. I did not like that. It was Woohoo from the beginning. Okay. I’ll just preface with that.

Manifesting Your Desires (09:11):

Before I say this, any experience that you truly want, you can bring into your world, every f&^king desire that you truly want. You can bring into your reality. That’s the absolute motherf&^king truth. The simplest answer to realizing your desires is this. All you have to do is when that desire comes and it feels really, really f&^king good, truly experience it as if you already have it. And then from there really indulge yourself. All of your motherf&^king senses into that experience, do it for 5 minutes, do it for 30 minutes if you can. And then just let that sh^t go. Be grateful for that experience that you just felt emotionally and mentally and with your soul. And just let that sh^t go and be on your way. And you will have a fantastic motherf&^king day and slowly with the mystery of the universe, some kind of hidden strings going on. Things and events and situations, and the people will start to unfold and reveal themselves to you. Everything seems to be in alignment with what you desire, but you must must first experience it and let it go and have full faith that this sh^t will happen for you. And that’s all! You cannot crave it. The more you crave it, the more you want it, the more it gets pushed away. Remember that!

Conclusion (11:25):

And all right, this concludes episode number 17. Oh my God. I did not think I was going to make this episode at all. I thought I was done, but again, you motherf&^kers keep wanting this sh^t, so I gotta keep making it. So I’m going to go ahead and plug my blog, higher self concepts dot com, my Instagram, YouTube higher self concepts, for both, and go check them out. If you enjoy this kind of content, you would definitely find the content that I have on those places… Enjoyable and interesting. So I want to bid everyone farewell. It’s okay to have desires, but please don’t crave that sh^t. Use the Socratic method and question why. Even when things that are going really good in your life, maybe you have an ice cream in front of you. You ask yourself why the f&^k do I like this ice cream so much? Just keep digging deep. Even the experience that you are currently enjoying. So you can understand yourself a lot more and you can later refine your desires in a way, very acutely, so you can achieve them much, much quicker. And again, I want to thank my listeners very much and for all the glowing feedback and reviews that I’ve been receiving from every motherf&^king where, so anyways, until next time, this is Tommy P. Under the Bodhi Tree. Peace, the f&^k out.
